Born and raised in Miami, FL, RuthieJ accepted Christ as her Savior at 7 years old listening to her Pastor and father preach on Easter morning. Since age 12 she has served in youth groups, musical groups and small groups. Just before Ruthie graduated college, the Lord opened doors for her to work in radio at Spirit FM (WMCU) where she served for over 7 years. She then felt led to pursue a degree and moved to California. After only 8 months, the Lord guided her back to Florida to get married and be step-mom to 4 kids. She continues to use her God-given talents in radio on "Mid-Day with RuthieJ" every Monday - Saturday from 10am-3pm and on "Parenting Today" with Dr. Bob Barnes weekdays from 2:45-3pm.
