I am very depressed not happy with my life and where I am. I was baptised when I was 18 and now Im 33. I have been in and out of church for that time and now its such a chore to read and pray. it depresses me to. I am trying to find God but I cant hear his voice. I am really doubting that God exsists and will work in my life and its all fake. I am thinking very negative lately. Every day I have less and less desire to live. I go to work and come home. its a terrible life. no wife, my relationships all fail, i have a hard time trusting and this is depressing as well. I am heart broken and depressed. I have thought about ending it. my health has suffered, my colesterol is high and my testosterone is low the doctor told me and I am having panic attacks thinking about my life. I thought I would be happy, married and starting a family right now, but the truth is I only make enough money to support myself. I feel doomed and depressed. I cant shake this feeling, maybe I have a demon some people say or maybe its a generatioal curse.Come to find out my grandfather was a very evil man who died of a heart attack. I need help, I feel depressed that I went to school to get an accounting degree and mba and I make less money than friends that did not go to college and are much happier than me. I need help, some people tell me to change my perspective but that is depressing to, its like saying accept your circumstances and look at things the same…. my relationship with God is not good. I cant hear God and I cant see God working in my life. I am soo depressed. and heartbroken. I want to meet a girl that would love me and we could share life together but I have no hope.

I went thru something very similar until someone told me STOP focusing on the bad, what you don’t have, how you feel and instead START thinking how BIG GOD is, how HE DOES want what is best for you and even if you DONT Feel it, talk to HIM and thank HIM for what you DO have (your health, eyesight, etc etc) and simply WORSHIP HIM (even if at the moment you don’t feel it! Trust me, many times I was just crying in depression and just started to worship and I can feel my tears of pain coming down my face but I noticed as days went by I started to feel different. I also started seeing things differently and it was then that I REALLY started to see Gods hand in my life and I knew He was talking to me through different means so… my best advise is.. Thank Him for what you DO have, and worship HIM… GOD moves when we worship.

I will pray for you sir. I am also 40 and single and not making a lot of money in fact I live at home with my dad still and feel like a loser. I am blessed to be living at home though because God used me to care for my mom a year ago when she was sick with pancreatic cancer and lead her to our lord before she died on her deathbed. i have a bachellors degree but nothing opened up for me in the criminal justice field. please pray for my sweet loving dog jake he has cushings syndrome and liver disease. i know he is 13 but i want a miracle done in the name of jesus on my sweet dog. i want at least 10 more years with my jake.

Mr., I am also 33 years old. First and foremost, it appears that
you have received several responses to your prayer request from people who don’t even know you, however these individuals want to help you and want to see you turn things around. I can tell you that without God I would not be writing this response to you right now, but God has touched my heart to reach out to you,and I hope that this can touch you even in the slightest and can be a little bit of help to you. I too have experienced some trials lately, having 4
surgeries in the last 4 years, the last of which was 2 weeks ago..you know
what, I feel great today and better than I ever did! God is at the forefront of
my life and through each surgery my faith in God has grown; I know that might
sound funny and backwards, but James 1:2,3 tells us to consider it true joy
when going through trials because when our faith is tested it produces perseverance.I now have a testimony and have seen that through God’s grace, I have impacted the lives of others around me. That right there really shows the strength of the Lord working in our lives. Changing your perspective may help- do you have a job: YES!, do you have a home: YES! Think about others who wish they had your job and those who are without a home. Be grateful for what you do have. Your current perspective and depression may have something to do with your health issues and the devil wants you to believe that you are cursed, etc. etc. However this is the furthest thing from the truth! You are a child of the one true King and God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him. A few days before my surgery I won tickets to the Casting Crowns concert through Reachfm. This was a true blessing and could’ve have come at a better time. I never doubted God and what He does, and we must thank Him for whatever we go through and endure. You may not be where you thought you would be by now, but trust that God has a plan for your life. It appears that before meeting the right person and starting a family, God wants you to find HIM again and put Him before all of these other things that you are going through.Some of your circumstances you can’t control, as the Serenity Prayer tell us, but the circumstances that you can control, by all means go out there and make a change! Trust in Him and keep the faith..I know there is a champion inside of you and when you DO turn things around you too will have a testimony of God’s power and love for His children. God bless you and keep your head up…

I too was thinking of some of your direct words and would just like to duck-tale off your words for Mr. It is so true once you are a child of God you will never be plucked out of his hand, because he has promised us his inheritance, and for that we are truly blessed. I too have been in the deep valley thinking some days I cannot even pray or talk to our Heavenly Father, but throught these trials such as no job for three years, loseing almost everything I have, I fall on my face and scream his name, Jesus, and he has been breaking down all my barriers, and told me recently just beacuase I have failed does not mean I am a failure, all the great olyimpics have to fall to become great at what they are called to be. Us too, you my friend are all our brother in Christ, let hope in, your not forgotten, as the song says, the Bible says and God himself. You have a purpose and a testimony that will help someone, just as each writer here is trying to help you get through this! See you in heaven someone day when he calls us all home at the big wedding table.!!!! Listen for his voice, a whisper, a person at the store, a stranger that tells you a word, it can be the Lord himself! Rebuke satan, he is getting to much recogniztion and Jesus died for us to overcome stinky old you know who!

I’m 34 and have been in low moments through my life, but the key my friend is to sit still & quiet. Remember God is the most high, almighty!! He may be speaking to you, but in a whisper. Many times we don’t stop to hear Him. We are so easy to let Satan tempt us. Stay with your Bible & pray. I was saved at 17, and yes I fell away from God for years. I have come back even stronger when I fell on my face before Him in complete heartbreak when my ex-husband left me & our son behind to have an affair. I am really sorry to hear about your suffering. I have felt the same way for 25 years ( that doesn’t mean I’m 25, I’m much older than that lol). Anyway, don’t give up. I am working through a book called Restoring Relationships” and also reading a book titled How to Stop the Pain by James Richardson. This book has been really good. Please trust me when I say I know your pain, I was recently hospitalized at Imperial Point for feeling the way you do. I know though that God does love us and Jesus paid for ALL our sins.

My husband has a child from a previous relationship. She is 3 yrs.’ old. The mother of his child was not too happy when he moved on and married me and from that moment on she has made every effort to make things miserable for us. She has tried to keep him from seeing his child so we took her to court to enforce his visitations and parental rights. She still continues to try to cause problems every chance she can. She most recently was upset that we claimed the child on our taxes (she is not working or paying taxes and we were told we could claim the child by the judge) so she decided to call CPS and file a abuse complaint against my husband and myself. The investigation itself only took 24 hours to wrap up as they found nothing because neither of us abuse our kids! The case was closed the same day and we were allowed to continue our normal visitation schedule. The very next weekend, she took the baby to a place called “Kristi’s House” for a appointment, which we later found out is a child advocacy group for sexually abused children. I’m guessing that never amounted to anything either after they examined and spoke with the child because if it had, we would have heard something and/or my husband would be in jail. This girl is relentless! She refuses to give up and we are fearful of how far she is willing to go with these false accusations to try to get us out of the child’s life. For this reason we have decided to take her back to court for custody of my step-daughter. I’m asking for prayer over our situation and everyone involved, especially the child involved!

Please be in agreement with me that my situation on my job will change. I am in spiritual warfare with my manager and another co-worker. They are trying to drive me out, but I know whom I serve. God gave me this job and He is faithful to allow me to keep it. I am a single parent and on top of other everyday stressors, I am faced with the enemy on my job trying to steal my joy, but I won’t let him. I know that God is with me and He provides my needs. My husband has an addiction issue and is spiraling down fast. He is putting us in debt and doing other dangerous things. I have my children who are having difficulties because of this. He has become controlling and I am afraid it will become worse. I know that God has a plan for him. Please pray for his heart to be open and for a strong Christian man to come into his life. Since this was posted, my husband has been arrested on domestic violence charges and is currently sitting in jail awaiting trial. Please pray that Christ so overwhelm his soul that he will make changes to his life. I know that this is a strong spiritual battle and I know Christ will overcome!

I am in desperate need of prayer. My husband is a new believer and most recently has been trying to get closer to Christ but has so many doubts about Christianity. He wants to leave me because of certain disagreements we have about The Lord. His name is Robert and he truly has a big heart for righteousness, but needs a spiritual encounter with The Lord. He hasn’t experienced his glory in a way that would transform his heart. I don’t ever want to give up on him because I know he is my partner that God sent. Father I lift up Angel to You right now and ask that You break that habit of road rage. Lord we know that is a lack of self control and patience so please Father grant Angel a double blessing and teach him how to nail those feelings of rage and anger to the cross. Since end of Jan 2013 I have been living full time in RV with my two dogs; had to trade my car for RV to have place to live or homeless on the street. Income is $200/mo currently, without help from friends, family can’t make it. Now the battery in my RV is dead (had it jumped three times in the past three days) and needs to be replaced. I need an electrician to fix 30 amp electrical that is not working and also tune up. Right now I am asking for prayers that someone would buy a battery for me so I can move from the Walmart parking lot in Tarpon Springs..before they make me move. I had to throw out all my food in the fridge…no electric to keep it cold. I know He is with me…are my brothers and sisters? God bless all for caring …:)

I am a 31yr old female. I have recently met a man and have been together for 3 months. This man is amazing but most of all he is a Christian and has helped me strengthen my faith in marvelous ways as I have been brought up in the catholic religion. My problem or should I say our problem is that he does have a troubled past that seem to weaken him at times but also seems to be his strength at other times. He speaks of achieving goals and has proven it by finding a job and wanting to improve in it since its in sales. The problem is his anger and the wanting to have fun on weekends, the kind of fun that a redeemed man should have let go and have let it be kept in the past. I understand that he was deprived of a free life for 7 years and has been free since January 1 2013, yet I wonder sometimes if he is fake, or not sure what he wants in life or if he is a follower and not a leader and letting his friends encourage him to do addictive behaviour. I have grown to love him and I definitely do not want judge him but at the same time I am not sure what to think what to believe nor what to do. I have prayed about it so much, as I do dream to have a future with him but unfortunately I am starting to see it as impossible.
The way I met this man makes me believe I met him for a reason but there are so many liars and fake people in the world, I hate to think this man has only been using me.

I am 22 years old I I got married last year December my husband is an amazing guy when we first met we have our little family of three i have a son. There is this female friend in our lives she has been there prior to us getting married and she has always been good but as of late i have been getting these bizarre feelings about them when i see them together and i talked to him about it he say nothing is going on but I can get this gut feeling out of me about them being together I pray about it tried to suppress it for peace sake but it just will not leave me. Eventually I confronted her she denies every question i ask and i really want to put it to rest cause it upsets my husband terribly, but its juts the way he is always extremely happy around her and he has gotten so short tempered with me its like im walking on egg shell being careful what to say. Its just that she has no boundaries she call him when ever she feel like ask him to drive her places without my knowledge she is a kind person but the way he is around her the tone of his voice his laughter all so genuine but when he comes home he is a whole new person so angry and frustrated. Im trying so hard to let this go but it hurts me so bad I cant concentrate on anything else. Now me and her dont speak I apologized to her saying if i wrongfully accuse her im sorry but i had to tell her how i feel. I prayed and repented for behaving the way i did i was so angry and i just allowed my flesh to devour me and i just went off on them both. If i judged them wrongfully I pray god forgive me but this feeling is eating me up please pray for me that these thoughts may leave my head. Thank you

I know how hard it is to keep faith that God is really there. So just telling you to have faith is silly. You need proof!! The way to get this is to start counting your blessings. I know it’s hard to find those blessing some days but if you REALLY look, you will find something that God has given you each day. Today, I saw the most beautiful rainbow while parking my car to enter my work place. Yesterday, I saw a very pretty cardinal that was feeding in my yard, which they never come to my house. My cat cuddles with me every night. And the list goes on. Every day try to find that silver lining and things will look up and become more positive for you.
